Going, Going, Gone

For a nice change, this week was not so crazy. Kids are still a bit wild...okay, a lot wild, BUT the week was still pretty goo overall.

Going

Intersession is over and my daughters are excited to be back at school. Mommy is too! I've had time to get the house back in order, for the most part. I've gotten to visit a ton of awesome blogs that are participating in the A to Z Challenge. And I've made progress in my writing/editing.

Going

My revisions are running so much smoother this week. I've managed to revise six chapters. Compared to the one or two a week, that's pretty darn good. Plus, I've been working on my WIP and the ideas just keep coming.

Gone

Lent has come to an end. Tomorrow is Easter and while it took the entire forty days, I've (almost) overcome my procrastination. Since I planned on giving up procrastination for Lent, it's a little sad that it took the entire time to finally accomplish that task, but I'm happy I did it-better late than never, right?

Overall this week was a pretty good start to April. Looking forward to another exciting week next week.

Happy Saturday :)

That's my week all wrapped up. How was your week? Did you accomplish anything you've been hoping to get done? Did you find a ton of awesome people? Are you participating in the challenge? (If not, hopefully next year because it's awesome-but you can still go here and check out the links to everyone who is participating and check out their blogs.)

Breaking the procrastination habit takes time. I'm impressed that you did it in 40 days. :-)

My kids have been on spring break, so I've not had much quiet time, but it's been nice and relaxed here :) Happy Easter!

Sounds like you had a good week! The AtoZ has put my writing on the back burner for bit, but I'm working out some plot things in my head so it works :)

Procrastination is one of the best things I've heard to give up for Lent. No writing for me at the moment - that's on the schedule for May when the Challenge is over.

I feel like I got quite a bit done considering it was only a 'three day week' around here. I've starting jogging again and it does wonders for my brain. Seriously. But I did get a lot of little things off my plate which helps those feelings of accomplishment.

I've found some great new blogs through the challenge, but the writing has definitely had to be put on hold!

Thanks everyone for stopping by. Everyone says they put their writing on hold, lol-how does that happen? My writing doesn't stop even if I wanted it to.

Misha- Yes, very hard.

Hope-Mine just went back to school this past week. There wasn't much quiet time here during those (THREE) weeks and it definitely wasn't relaxing during that time either.

Jemi-I did have a good one, fairly good at least.

Alex-I know a lot of people give up candy or a specific food or soda or something like that. I wanted to find something that would be a challenge-a sacrifice. That's the whole idea of giving up something for Lent.

Jean-That's great that you've started jogging. I need to get back into walking. When it was nice at the beginning of the school year we walked to school instead of me driving the kids. I think I need to get back to that.

Pa Ul-I will check your blog, thanks for stopping by.

Donna-Some really great blogs out there for sure.

Sarah-It does add challenge to finding time to write, but I just can't stay away from my MS or my WIP.
